Is it fatal?
Darkly funny lessons from a life that refused to stay broken

A self-help book shaped by real events, danger, humour and lived experience.
Most people assume resilience is a personality trait.
Something neat. Something earned. Something you master.
Mine came from snake bites, brain surgeries, robberies, joy, stupidity, luck, friends, science, bad decisions, and a single question that got me through all of it:
Is it fatal?
If the answer was no, I kept going.
Sometimes with humour. Sometimes with rage.
Always with the belief that life isn’t finished just because you’ve hit the floor.
This book is a memoir of absurd survival, sharp lessons, and the strange ways a life can put itself back together, not through perfection but through persistence, curiosity, and the occasional grumpy letter.

About the Book
Is it Fatal?
Is It Fatal? is built from real moments when life, work and health pushed past the edge. It draws on years in Papua New Guinea, sudden shocks, field lessons, family history and a sense of humour that refused to quit. The book shows how one sharp question can cut through panic and help you keep going when everything feels too heavy. It matters because it speaks to anyone who has been pushed hard and needs proof that they are not alone.
